Dr. Nailesh D. Dave
MD
Dr. Dave is triple board-certified in Neurology, Pain Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Nailesh Dave earned his medical degree from the Medical College at Gujarat University in 1990. He completed his Neurology Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill in 1998, followed by a fellowship in Neurorehabilitation at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1999.
In February 2005, he founded the Neurology and Pain Management Center, PLLC. As one of the few neurologists in the region to offer integrated services in pain management, neurology, and sleep medicine, Dr. Dave has been a dedicated provider to the community since 1999.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the North Carolina Medical Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Scott Frieary
MD
Dr. Scott Frieary is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board-eligible in Integrative Medicine, having completed the fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona
Dr. Frieary earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Ithaca College. He completed a post-baccalaureate program at Western Connecticut State University before obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his Anesthesiology Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Frieary then spent 11 years in private practice with Western Connecticut Medical Group in Danbury, Connecticut. He later pursued a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. His clinical interests include interventional pain management, medical acupuncture, and metabolic health.

Dr. Michael Mueller, MD is a pain medicine physician in Pinehurst, NC. He is affiliated with FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Meena Dave
Physician Assistant
Meena Dave, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant and serves as the Administrator of Neurology & Pain Management Center. She earned her Physician Assistant degree from the Touro College PA Program in New York in 1989 and completed a Postgraduate Surgical Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. She was certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 1990.
Mrs. Dave brings extensive clinical experience across a range of specialties, including Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Sickle Cell Management, and Cardiac Surgery, where she worked as a Surgical Physician Assistant. She remains an active member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Neema Dave
Physician Assistant
Neema Dave was born in Queens, NY and raised in Cary, NC. She got her B.S. in Health Education and Promotion from East Carolina University in 2014. After graduating from ECU, she pursued her education and graduated from Methodist University Physician Assistant Program in 2017. She is certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Misty White
Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
Misty White has been in the medical field for almost 25 years. She earned her Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Occupational Safety and Health at Murray State University and her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is board certified as an AGNP. She spent several years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center working in the Medical ICU. She also gained experience at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center as a Charge Nurse on a Neurology, Orthopedic, and Surgical unit for nearly 5 years. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Bianca Goo
Physician Assistant
Bianca Goo is a graduate of the Methodist University Physician Assistant Program. She is certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants and is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Samta Bhakta
ANP-BC
Samta Bhakta MSN, RN, ANP-BC is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been in the medical field for over 25 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of New Mexico in 1997. As a registered nurse, she primarily worked in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and multiple ICU specialty units. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at University of California Los Angeles in 2007. Prior to joining the practice, she worked as a nurse practitioner in various specialties such as family practice, nephrology, as well as pain management.
Mark Jularbal
NP
Mark Jularbal is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Queens University of Charlotte in 2010. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Mark worked as an RN in various specialties including the medical intensive care unit and the emergency department.
In December 2018, he received his Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner. Mark’s experience has been in orthopedic surgery before joining the practice.
Anmol Clairmont
PA-C
Anmol Clairmont was born and raised in India and moved to the United States at age 17. She became a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholar and graduated from Montana State University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She excelled in research and was a Student Chemist Research Assistant through the Montana Space Grant Consortium. She volunteered in several missions and outreach programs to Ukraine, Brazil and Nepal, where she found a deep passion for helping people overcome their pain, suffering, and limitations. She went on to obtain her Physician Assistant Degree from Bethel University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her international exposure and unique experience allow her to relate with a diverse and varied population. She is easy to interact with and is intentional about taking care of her patients, where they feel heard, understood, and made to feel like they are more than just their pain.
Ko Kim
FNP
Ko Kim is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in healthcare. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University and has worked in a range of clinical environments, including Endoscopy at Duke Health. Earlier in her career, she gained extensive experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, and perioperative care, including First Assist, Pre-op, OR circulator, and PACU. She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
Ko holds national certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner through both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. With a strong commitment to lifelong learning, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care, Ko is dedicated to advancing outcomes in pain management, sleep medicine, and neurology through evidence-based practice, compassion, and collaboration.
Outside of her professional role, Ko enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and pocket bully. She loves traveling, sports, photography, exploring new cuisines, and experiencing different cultures.
Emily Hale
FNP
Emily Hale is a West Virginia native by way of San Diego, CA. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2013 from Northern Kentucky University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Medicine in 2019 at Indiana Wesleyan University. She worked for nine years as a cardiac step down travel nurse until she landed in San Diego, CA and began her career as a nurse practitioner in interventional pain management. She finds fulfilment in caring for patients to improve their functionality and quality of life. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2019. She enjoys spending her time away from work with her fiance, two dogs and one cat.
Valerie Kivuti
PA-C
Valerie Kivuti, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in pain management and spine-related conditions. She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Western Carolina University in 2018 and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Franklin Pierce University in 2023.
She focuses on comprehensive pain evaluations, evidence-based treatment strategies, and thoughtful medication management with the goal of improving function, safety, and long-term outcomes.
Valerie believes in a patient-centered, conservative approach to care with a strong focus on access, continuity of care, and long-term patient outcomes. She also maintains a personal interest in mobility-based exercise, yoga, dance, and nutrition.
